Below you will find a listing of common services provided by photoGary.net. Please note, my services are flexible and I am very open to your ideas. My main goal is to make you happy with the end product. Also understand that services and prices are subject to change without notice
Headshots
Do you need headshots? Are you an actor who wishes to put their best face forward? Look no further. I am very experienced at headshots, both in studio and on location. In fact, most of the work I do professionally is headshots for actors! Through my volunteer work with local community theatres, I have honed my craft for several years. I know what directors are looking for! (for group or corporate headshots, please contact me for further discussion).
When you shoot with me, you be given up to 60 minutes of time for the price allotted unless other stipulations are agreed upon prior to the session. You will be allowed an unlimited amount of outfit changes in the time allotted. If you wish to utilize a professional makeup artist, please contact me and I can contract with one of my Affiliates for a fee. You are, of course, welcome to come completely prepared if you wish. We will shoot together for the majority of the time allotted. If you wish to add another location, an extra fee will be added (typically $50 and an extra 30+ minutes of shooting time). For instance, should you wish to shoot in the studio and in a location of your choosing, you should expect to pay $175. For that price, you will get to choose up to 10 images, cropped (if requested), edited/retouched, color corrected, and will be delivered to you electronically. For a small fee of $25, I will emblazon your name to each photo you choose to give a professional look. In this case, each photo will be cropped to standard 8×10 and a white border will be placed around the image with your name at the bottom in a standard black font. These images can be printed easily at any print shop of your choice. Prints can be provided for a fee if requested (typically $3 per 8×10). If time allows, we will review your images together on a “50 display in the comfort of the studio where you can choose your images. If you choose to have more time to go through your images, I will send proofs to you electronically so that you can have input from friends and loved ones. Most of our communication can be through email/Facebook to make things easier for you! Typically, you will have your images back within two weeks, but often quicker if requested. Full payment will be required at the time of shooting. I take cash/check (preferred), Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, credit/debt cards. A receipt can be emailed to you if you so request.
You certainly have a lot of options with headshots out there. Let me explain to you what makes me different:
- Most photographers hold copyrights to their images. I do not. You will be given a copyright release to use your images in any way you see fit (including on social media!).
- Most photographers have very strict limits to the amount of images they give you for the fee (typically one or two). I do not. You will be allowed to choose up to 10 images. For an extra fee, we can add more. Please contact me to discuss this!
- Most photographers will refuse to retouch all of your images. I do not. Every image you receive will be retouched for blemishes as well as other small distractions. I am very open to your suggestions as well!
- Many photographers do not have the studio equipment to capture traditional headshots and will thus require you to shoot outside. I do not. I have a fully functioning studio at your disposal. The studio is comfortable with separate changing rooms and restroom/shower facilities if needed.
- Many photographers will only shoot you in one location, whether it be in studio or location. I do not. For a small fee, we can add extra time and locations to your shoot so that you may have a greater variety in your images.
- Some people will tell you that they can take their images for you for a small fee, with a point-and-shoot camera and give you the images to do what you want with them. I do not. I utilize only professional-grade equipment and editing techniques that require hours of learning and training. You simply cannot expect the same results from amateur equipment.
- Most photographers only utilize one style of lighting. I do not. In your studio session, you will be afforded the option of several styles of lighting. In addition to the traditional three-point lighting (used in most professional studios), you have the option of high fashion/glamour lighting (used by the the biggest names in photography), and a dazzling “diva light” experience. Both of these two options create an edgy and gorgeous and flattering light that brings out your eyes and compliments any skin tone. Ever notice photos with a brilliant light in the model’s eyes? This is the effect! There very few (if any!) photographers in the area who know how to use this lighting or even have the equipment. I do!
As always with my services, your images will be warrantied for life! Should you lose your images, or they become unusable for any reason, simply contact me and I will replace them for you at no charge. Before scheduling with me, be sure to read the Shooting w/Me page. There you will find some great information to help you gain the perfect image. If you would like to see examples of my headshots, please see my Portfolio. Please be aware that any person posing for me will be required to sign a release form. If you have questions or concerns, please contact me.
Portraits
Portraits are the vital to any professional photographer’s work. Whether they be individual, couple, group, or family, they are important to capture moments in your life! For you, photoGary.net will provide new cherished images whether they be in the studio or on location. This could be something as simple as your backyard, or as complex as any number of wonderful locations you choose, indoors or out. A good photographer knows how to bring out the best in you. I firmly believe that everyone is photogenic. It is up to the right photographer to show you. I believe I have that talent, and I would love to show you. For your portrait shoot, you will be allotted up to 90 minutes either in studio or on location (unless other stipulations are agreed upon prior to the session). We will shoot together for the majority of the time allotted. If you wish to utilize a professional makeup artist, please contact me and I can contract with one of my Affiliates for a fee. Modeling Portfolios
Entering the world of modeling can be an incredibly intimidating experience, and typically the first stop is to have a good portfolio. A portfolio should include several images of you in various poses with multiple looks. This may include fashion, casual, sportswear, swimwear, artistic makeup, etc. This is all dependent on how detailed you with to be and what image you wish to portray. If you wish to utilize a professional makeup artist, please contact me and I can contract with one of my Affiliates for a fee. While you are welcome to utilize your own makeup skills, I highly suggest the services of a professional makeup artist. My affiliates, as with any professional makeup artist, know the techniques to make you look good in front of a camera. Make no mistake, spending a little bit extra can really pay off in the final images. For your portfolio shoot, you will be allowed to utilize any amount of outfits you would like within the two hour time allotted. I will help guide you with outfit choices in a pre-shoot consultation. I have experience working with agencies and can help you fulfill the requirements they may have. I am also a contract photographer for a local talent development agency, Big Bad Loud Entertainment (see Affiliates page). The fee for services includes everything including my time and talent, use of equipment, shooting/editing/retouching, and delivery. There are no hidden fees! For that price, you will get to choose up to 10 images for your portfolio, cropped (if requested), edited/retouched, color corrected, and will be delivered to you electronically. Weddings
Weddings are a very special time in anyone’s lives, whether it be your first, second, or fifth time around! Everyone wants to capture the events of their wedding but doesn’t want to have to worry about anything. This is where a good photographer comes in! My intention is to capture every bit of your wedding, and to be invisible at the same time. A good photographer knows how to do their job without interrupting the special day. If you choose to use photoGary.net’s services, you will not be disappointed in the result. The fee for services includes everything including my time and talent, use of equipment, shooting/editing/retouching, and delivery. There are no hidden fees. What you sign on your contract will be exact amount you pay, no matter what. Prior to your big day, we will sit down together and go over details of the event so that I can provide services aptly without bothering anyone. My philosophy of wedding photography is mostly traditional. My clients have all told me they were very pleased with the images they got, as they were not over processed and trite. I am, of course, very open to your suggestions and will do everything in my power to make you happy with your result. I provide images of the wedding party preparing (both sides if possible), candid photos of guests arriving, the ceremony, and the reception afterwards (including any and all traditional photos including candid photos of your guests, dancing, etc!). You will be provided with a flash drive of all of your images within 90 days of completion of the wedding (typically faster!). Prints can be provided for a fee if requested. A 50% deposit is due at the time we sign a contract together. The remaining 50% is due on the day of the event. A receipt can be emailed to you if you so request. Please see my Standard Wedding Contract for details on this.
I know that you have a slue of choices for wedding photographers, but there are several things that set me apart from my fellow artists.
- Most photographers hold copyrights to their images. I do not. When you work with me, you will receive EVERYTHING I shoot with a copyright release. You can expect anywhere from 500-750+ images of your special day.
- Many photographers utilize strict time limits in their practice. I do not. Typically, unless otherwise requested, I will begin shooting candidly during the wedding party’s preparation and will not leave until nearly the end of your reception. I will not leave the event until you are satisfied, and will check in with you before doing so.
- Many photographers will limit the amount of images you my choose of your wedding. I do not. You will receive every usable image I shoot.
- Most photographers will limit the amount of retouching/editing they do with their images. I do not. Every image you receive will be cropped (if requested), color corrected, retouched, and ready for print. All images will be high resolution and will print beautifully.
I invite you to shop around and compare what photoGary.net is willing to offer! After all, your happiness is my best payment! As always with my services, your images will be warrantied for life! Should you lose your images, or they become unusable for any reason, simply contact me and I will replace them for you at no charge. If you would like to see a sample contract that is utilized in my services, please see my Standard Wedding Contract. To see examples of my wedding photography, please see my Portfolio.
Events
Any event can benefit from the use of a professional photographer. Whether it be a family reunion, corporate function, or party, my services can benefit you! There are several options you could choose from and I am certainly amenable to any discussion. Feel free to contact me to discuss your ideas! I can give you a quote after discussion! The sky is the limit!
One such option that has proven to be very popular these days is that of a photobooth! You have seen the images on social media lately, so why not include this for your next event? The photobooth is a highly customizable service and you have several options including actual prints (for an extra fee) for your guests, silly props, wigs, costumes, etc. The fee for service includes up to four hours of photographers time/talent, use of equipment, editing, and delivery. Full payment will be required at the time of the event. I take cash/check (preferred), Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, credit/debt cards. A receipt can be emailed to you if you so request.
When it comes to photobooth services, there are quite a few options out there these days. Let me explain why you should chose photoGary.net:
- Almost all photobooth providers utilize inexpensive photography equipment and minimal (if any) lighting. I do not. For your experience I will bring what is essentially a portable professional photography studio. This will include a professional camera (not a point-and-shoot) and studio lighting (not a simple flash). The experience will rival that of working in my professional studio, and the images will show that. They will be well-lit and be of the highest resolution.
- Most photobooth providers utilize a small space and no background with their service. I do not. With my service, you will be provided with a professional single color background and the space provided will be (at minimum) 10ft x 10ft. For an additional fee, I can create a custom background, similar to what you might see on the Red Carpet in Hollywood. This will be made of professional-grade vinyl and will be yours to keep should you wish. In order to create this custom background, extra time will be necessary for production and delivery.
- Most photobooth providers will only provide you with physical prints of your images. I do not. It has been my experience that most people who get a photobooth image wish to share them online through social media. When they do share them, they are often cell phone images of the photos or poor scans. Most clients I have worked with prefer to utilize digital images so they can share, which is the service provided with the mentioned fee. When you book your photobooth with photoGary.net, your images will be uploaded to Facebook for you at no additional charge. You may then share a link to all of your guests and they can “tag” themselves in each photo, allowing them to share them with the world (and not just the people who see the photo in a frame on their coffee table. You may, of course, request physical prints at an additional $200 fee per event. Online images are always provided in the fee, regardless of whether or not you choose the print option.
- Almost all photobooth providers have a set amount of props, and utilize the same over and over again. I do not. While I do have a stock of supplies that I typically use, I am always open to your event ideas and will help customize props specifically for you. A small fee may be added for this customization. Feel free to contact me with questions and/or requests.
As always with my services, your images will be warrantied for life! Should you lose your images, or they become unusable for any reason, simply contact me and I will replace them for you at no charge. Before scheduling with me, be sure to read the Shooting w/Me page. There you will find some great information to help you gain the perfect image. If you would like to see examples of my work, please see my Portfolio.
Senior Photos
Senior photos are, to most, a poignant and necessary way to show the world just who the student is! Capturing the true essence of a graduating senior is truly priceless and should be individualized. Working with photoGary.net is exactly what you need. My services can be provided either in the studio or on location. The fee for services includes everything including my time and talent, use of equipment, shooting/editing/retouching, and delivery. There are no hidden fees. You will be allotted up to three (3) hours of shooting time and unlimited outfit changes. Full payment will be required at the time of shooting. I take cash/check (preferred), Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, credit/debt cards. A receipt can be emailed to you if you so request.
When it comes to senior photos, you have options. There are so many ways you could go. Let me explain why working with me is different:
- Most photographers hold copyrights to their images. I do not. You will be given a copyright release to use your images in any way you see fit (including on social media!).
- Most photographers have very strict limits to the amount of images they give you for the fee (typically one or two). I do not. You will be allowed to choose up to 10 images. For an extra fee, we can add more. Please contact me to discuss this!

- Many photographers do not have the studio equipment to capture traditional portraits and will thus require you to shoot outside. I do not. I have a fully functioning studio at your disposal. The studio is comfortable with separate changing rooms and restroom/shower facilities if needed.
- Many photographers will only shoot you in one location, whether it be in studio or location. I do not. We can vary your locations to your shoot so that you may have a greater variety in your images. Want to shoot in the studio with you own props? Sure. Want to add some charming outdoor scenes to that as well? No problem.
I do!

Mini Photo Session
We often find ourselves in the dilemma where we need a professionally produced image for ourselves. This may be a quick gift for a loved one, a fast headshot for an audition next week, or just want a new Facebook photo! This is where I come in. For the price of only $35, you will have a professional studio experience. I will provide all of the typical perks of working in a professional studio and produce an image you will be proud of. The fee for services includes everything including my time and talent, use of equipment, shooting/editing/retouching, and delivery. There are no hidden fees. You will be allotted up to 20 minutes of shooting time in studio. If you wish to shoot on-location, an extra fee will be assessed for travel. Please contact me for more details. For this mini session, you will be allowed to have only one outfit, please. After we have shot, time permitting, I will allow you to view your proofs immediately and you can chose one image for me to edit and deliver. You will have the choice of lighting and backgrounds. You may bring props if you wish, but you will only be allowed to be in the image yourself. Please, no couples, children, or pets. If you wish to have more flexibility, please consider using my portrait package. Your digital image will be delivered within a day or two. I will work with you to get the image quicker if necessary for the same price. Full payment will be required at the time of shooting. I take cash/check (preferred), Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, credit/debt cards. A receipt can be emailed to you if you so request.

Retouching and Photo Restoration
We all know how precious our images are. They are a defining and tangible reminder of our history. Therefore, we want them to look the best they possibly can. For that reason, I am available to retouch images and restore photos to what you need. Price for this service is variable based on amount of work required to sufficiently alter your images. Typically, the fee will be $45/hour with a one hour minimum regardless of actual time spent. At time of service, your requests will be taken into consideration, and a quote will be given for amount of time for the job. That quote is not a guarantee of the final amount, but will be as close as possible. You will be assessed that fee at the time of service. After services are completed, you will be given a detailed account of amount of time spent on the project. You will also be given a refund if the amount of payment exceeds the amount of time spent. If a larger fee is needed to complete the project, you will be notified immediately. Final delivery of the project will not occur until fee is paid in full. Once you pay your fee, processing will begin. If more retouching is needed over and above your quote and you refuse to pay the extra fee, the original fee will be kept as payment for services rendered. At that time, the digitally enhanced image may not be returned to you. If necessary, a contract may need to be signed, especially if the service is extensive. If you wish, as with any service, a contract may be requested given enough time to prepare it.
A bit about retouching:
Photoshop and other photo editing has become a trend that has gotten a lot of mixed reviews. We have all seen images of models in the magazines that we know has been altered. We have seen a celebrity’s complexion that makes them look porcelain and therefore unrealistic. We know that not everyone is a size zero. As a professional photographer (and a social worker) I do not subscribe to those images of perfection. However, that being said, I will take time to retouch images you are unhappy with. (Please understand I am not authorized to retouch the work of other professional photographer’s images. Those are protected by US Copyright Law as Intellectual Property. I will, however, help retouch your own images if you wish.) With all of my shoots, basic retouching is included. This includes fixing basic lighting issues and covering up basic blemishes. More extensive retouching is available for things such as stray hairs, makeup mishaps, excessively wrinkled clothing or other “wardrobe malfunctions,” shiny skin, a small wrinkle or two, scars, removing a logo from your clothing, covering a tattoo, or removal of other small distractions from a photo. Please understand I will not grossly alter your images regardless of how much money you offer. As a conscientious photographer who values the importance of being true to one’s self, I will not “perfect” you. You owe it to yourself, your generation, and the younger generation to follow to take pride in your true image. This service can be added to any of my packages or can be requested as a stand alone service. Please feel free to contact me with specific questions.
A bit about photo restoration:
Do you have old photos that are damaged and you wish to have them brought back to their original glory? Over the years, images may become scratched, have entire sections missing, pitted, or simply torn in half. I can repair a great many issues with images. Please keep in mind that every attempt will be made to completely restore your images to their original luster, but it is often impossible to fix every image. After services are completed, your original damaged image will be returned along with the new refreshed digital image. If you would like a replacement print, one can be given for an additional fee. If you would like to ask more specifically about this service or have an example of a photo you would like to see restored and wish to have a quote, please contact me. See the image of my parents below as an example of the extensive restoration that is possible.
Videography
You may find yourself with the need of having a video to help promote yourself, your upcoming event, or your company. While the majority of my services involve still photography, I have become skilled in the use of my camera to shoot high quality, 1080P HD video as well. This service can be minimal enough to only require a few hours of work, up to a multiple-day shoot. Please understand this service falls into the “basic” category and therefore multiple, simultaneous video shooting is not available. For more extensive videography projects, please visit my Affiliates page and look for Zach Rosing Productions. He is a very talented local videographer and will have more options for you.
There are options such as copyright-free music (the use of copyrighted music in your video can be attempted through me, but this is not guaranteed. If you wish to pursue this route, an extra fee or other limitations may be imposed by the copyright holder). Other options that may be included are overlays with your name/company logo/other text, credits, still images, etc. The sky is the limit. Price per project can be quoted at the time of contact. For large projects, a non-refundable deposit may be required. To discuss your options and what I may be able to do for you, please contact me. See videos below for examples of my skills.
As always with my services, your project will be warrantied for life! Should you lose your project, or it becomes unusable for any reason, simply contact me and I will replace it for you at no charge. Before scheduling with me, be sure to read the Shooting w/Me page. There you will find some great information to help you gain the perfect image. If you would like to see examples of my work, please see my Portfolio.
